Model: ER605 (TL-R605)
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version:

In the network topology below, the computers from the local network are visible during the VPN connection to the ER605 router.

With VPN connection to the backup TL-R605 router, the VPN connection is OK but there is no communication with computers on the local network.

In the previous ER605 + RV042 configuration everything was ok.

ER605 settings:

LAN: 192.168.0.1/255.255.255.0

VPN IP Pool: 192.168.10.240 - 250

PPTP server

IP users: 192.168.0.240 - 245

TL-R605 Settings:

LAN: 192.168.0.100/255.255.255.0

VPN IP Pool: 192.168.11.240 - 250

PPTP server IP users: 192.168.0.246 - 251

Will this configuration work?

  @ciesiew

Maybe try the same VPN IP pool subnet for both routers?

  @ciesiew It didn't help anything. The problem is the address of the backup VPN router: 192.168.0.100. If I set the gateway 192.168.0.100 on workstations then it works, but then the first one 192.168.0.1 doesn't work.

  @ciesiew Problem solved:

For ER605 router: VPN IP POOL 192.168.10.220 - 229.

For TL-R605 router: VPN IP POOL 192.168.0.230 - 239.

The IP POOL VPN addresses for the backup router are in the same range as the local network.

In this configuration everything works as it should.

I'm closing the topic.
