Model: EAP650
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.0.3 Build 20220316 Rel. 51972

Second AP is EAP245 HW V3, Firmware: 5.0.5 Build 20220323 Rel. 68784

In two pictures below I have two use cases that I tried to run in my home network.

On the first one, My laptop (PC1) connects to EAP 650 and can easily access HTTP service that runs on second PC (PC2)

But on the second one, once I replace one wire with EAP mesh connection I get a lot of packet loss when PC1 talks to PC2. Both PCs receives proper IP address from DHCP, both can access the internet, but looks like when net packet have to travel both AP two times (from PC1 to the router and then back from the router to PC2) it somehow get lost and some pages are stopping loading in a middle and then dropping connection on timeout.

Any idea which AP is causing the problem? Any ideas how to fix that?

Thanks.

  @AlexS20 Make sure you have good signal strength between the two mesh nodes, should try to get above -60dbi.

  @JoeSea

The problem is not in signal. It is good enough

I am done with EAP mesh. Tried everything - nothing helps, nothing works. Switched to moca over coax and all vlans now work as expected.
