The latest app has left my plugs and switches useless
Okay, I have 4 of the HS105s and 2 of the switches HS200s(2.0, 1.5.7)
I have tried everything to get them to show up on the app and function by command. Nothing has worked. They have maintained the schedules that I built for them BUT when I bring up the app, NEVER have all 6 of them shown that they were on-line! I have control of my router and my router shows all 6 of them connected with great connection speeds.
I get all kinds of messages, the most common one is that I have not set them up for remote access. YES, I have! No method to this madness being displayed by this app. Everything was working great up until the last 2/3 updates to the app. I have tried the app on Android 8, 10, 11 and 13, with differing results on all of them! I have tried Alexa and it shows the same "inconsistent results" as the app shows, so it is NOT the Alexa app not working.
KASA has to do something or pull the plug on these products because use can not use them with any consistency.
They worked great once upon a time(fairy tale), BUT now, realty has set in.
