I am just in the process of setting up replacements for my home network(upgrading to several TP-Link devices from colubris. I have 3 devices pluged in right now an OC200, EAP235 wall and eap 245. I can see the 2 AP but the OC200 is not pulling an IP from dhcp, I have checked on the switch it is connected to and it is on the correct vlan. and monitoring the port it is on I see no trafic coming form it.

  @cswilson it is connected to only a POE switch.  I Just resolved the issue this morning thou, it was the port security function on the switch its plugged into, it got flaged and the switch was blocking the mac from the switch

  @cswilson 

 

First make sure that the gateway is on the same network segment as the controller and that the controller is able to obtain a valid IP address.

If you make sure the DHCP Server is working properly, you can reset the controller and try again.

Just striving to develop myself while helping others.

  @cswilson this is not meant as an insult but the OC200 is receiving power through the USB or through POE and the power LED is illuminated?   I ask because I have seen a case of someone plugging the OC200 into a non POE switch but not powering it by USB.
