  @DannyZ I have been with Omada for many years now, I had an ER605, upgraded to a ER7206 many moons ago lol, but I have installed in the office now 1x ER7206; 1x TL-SG3428; 2x TL-SG2210MP; 3x TL-SG2008; and 3x EAP225 APs. I'm gonna be real honest, 1.2.3 for the ER7206 is the first time in at least 3 years that I have had any issues with the firmware or any of the equipment. As far as it being expensive, that's absolutely not true, Omada gear costs less than almost all of it's counterparts, and it really does show. I guess you truly do get what you pay for these days. Now, with that being said, has anyone confirmed if these things work in Standalone mode? Because at this point, if this issue doesn't persist in standalone, I might just forego the controller entirely and configure things using the Web GUIs like we used to do before we had centralized SDN networking LOL. It is rather disappointing that Fae couldn't even be bothered to reply, at this point, this was purchased for my business, not my home, and is installed in my business, I have spoken to my Attorney's and they are going to start looking at what we can do to get back some of the money we paid for these clearly not ready for business solutions.

  @havenstance  Home office stand alone. IMHO this a hardware issue and why do few of us report the problems. Got my replacement on hand, will be configuring it tomorrow.

  @KellisR

Which model are you using?  What hardware version did you have and what version did they replace it with?

Please let us know if the newer version works!

  @KellisR I totally agree with it being hardware related, if it helps I have the ER7206 v1.6 as printed on the bottom of the router, however, the controller reports it as 1.0 and installs the 1.0 firmware revision vs the 1.6. TP-Link claims these are interchangeable, however if I go and install the v1.6 firmware from the website, this issue will take longer to recur. But alas, it will inevitably return at some point, usually in the middle of the night, and I wake up expecting to work only to find I need to roll back off v1.2.3 firmware to v1.2.1 and that stops the DHCP issue from happening, this just appeared for me with this new reivision, and it goes away after reverting back to the v1.2.1 firmware on my router, again i make sure to download the v1.6 vs the v1.0 because the v1.0 firmware will cause the issue to crop up even on firmware 1.2.1, otherwise this has been rock solid since I purchased it roughly 2 maybe 3 years ago now. I'm hopeful this is just another bug that will be fixed on the next firmware release, and if not, they need to let us know, so we can reach out the them to get these faulty units replaced, they are afterall guaranteed for life according to TP-Link. I don't mind if it was something they didn't foresee, you can't see the future when you create something, packages get depreciated, drivers as well, chipsets get dropped, etc. This platform has the potential to be an amazing time saving tool for businesses of all sizes, if TP-Link can work out the kinks, it will get better. At this point, if they can fix it for the newer units, and reach out to those of us who are having the problem with the solution for replacement, I would be satisfied for sure.

Edited for clarity regarding hardware issue.

  @Fae The problem still persist. I update my ER7206 with firmware version 1.2.3 and still have issues with dhcp. Some clients doesn´t receive a valid IP on netwok. The problem is solved after reboot de router, but it happens again the next day

  @Fae

I received a notification that Firmware 2.1.0 is available for ER605 V2. It said that it is adapted to Controller Version 5.8.4, I was still on 5.7.4 because 5.8.4 is Windows only as far as I could find. I installed the firmware and everything went sideways. My whole network is down, I could not downgrade the firmware inittially. I had to create a new controller on Windows (5.8.4), migrate the Router and then I could downgrade. Now I am working on migrating it again back to the initial controller. Any update on when 5.8.4 will be available for Linux?

@everyone

If you do not have a Controller on Windows qith 5.8.4 version, do not upgradeyour ER605 V2 to 2.1.0 until you get the 5.8.4 version of controller.

Current Setup: 1x ER605 v2.0, 1x TL-SG3428X v1.0, 2x TL-SG3210 v3.0, 1x TL-SG2210MP v1.0, 2x EAP670(EU) v1.0

  @Adandu

I'm on linux controller 5.7 and upgrading to the gw fw 2.1.0 went just fine, something other than the controller version is the issue in your network I reckon.

  @Adandu network is still running, but router is jumping between "adopting", "provisioning", "configuration" and "connected" all the time. Also running Omada on Linux.

  @Loopo I have the same problem/loop. Omada 5.7.4 (linux) and ER605 v2.1.0. My network is also running. 'Clients' is empty. Port information (connection speed etc) is grey/not working. Downgrade won't work.
