  @Fae
No updates on this case or new firmwares for us to test? It is a very serious problem and it has been going on for a long time, it needs to be solved!

  @gabxav

Not to mention the lack of IPv6 firewall features. A post a few months ago acknowledged this - to my view serious - omission and suggested a beta would be available in December.

  @gabxav I've given up. My suspicion is that it's an intermittent problem on "some" hardware. Otherwise the forums would be full of screaming customers. I have a formal ticked in and sent my first response. End result will be replacement or I'll return as soon as a different brand is installed.

I have also given up and stared to use another DHCP server, with the same Mac address reservations, while waiting for a fix. Until now, the network works... But it is really disappointing that TP-Link could not find a fix for this basic feature.

Current Setup: 1x ER605 v2.0, 1x TL-SG3428X v1.0, 2x TL-SG3210 v3.0, 1x TL-SG2210MP v1.0, 2x EAP670(EU) v1.0

This equipment isn't even home-use grade let alone business-grade. The features missing and/or broken are standard in any equipment and TP-Link either can't figure out how to make them work or doesn't care enough to prioritize providing functional firmware. This is completely unacceptable for a company selling business equipment.

  @DannyZ unfortunately completely agree. My work around is to use the last year version of controller and router and it seems more or less stable (bar minor bug allegedly fixed in version 5). But I just have no confidence in upgrading when such a fundamental issue is not fixed. It seems that there is either the fundamental lack of testing or the issue appears due to memory leak or corruption of some sorts. I think everyone agrees that the hardware is good it is just a shame about software.

  @Hendrics

See post #74 & 84.

I walked back the firmware to

R605(UN)_V1_1.1.1_Build 20210723

And the problem persists. Obviously 1,000's of other users don't have the problem so I now believe it is a hardware issue the firmware is never going to fix.

  @KellisR

I have ER7206 and i went back to 1.1.1 Build 20210723 Rel.64359 and it started to perfroming fine after going back. I was on 1.2.1 for 3 days only and spotted several devices getting same ips after that time.

I am still on omada controller 4.4.6 though, so not sure if that plays a part. I have about 60 clients (mostly wifi), 3 eaps and hardward controller oc200.

I have some IPs reserved.

You are right, it is strange that myabe not as many people complain. But i also have been having the same setup for the year and it has never seen that issue before.
Make sure you reboot all things after upgrading back.

My Lease Time: is 120 mins. Which is fairly small

I have also many Problems getting IP Adresses from ER7206 @ v1_1.2.3.

It is frustrating.

The following will help for a moment... I "Click Force Provision" to the ER7206 in OC200 controller.

But this helps only for a while.

Where can I get the firmware 1.1.1 ? At TP-Link Homepage it's not available.

  @User04012023

I just double checked and indeed it disappeared from the website :(. I am very surprised it was removed.
