Tapo c310 smart actions problem

does it work for you to control the tapo p100 socket with tapo c310 motion detection?
for me nothing happens when motion is detected and I have tried resetting both camera and socket and gone through the settings as many times as possible

Please confirm device firmware and Tapo app are both up to date
Confirm smart devices are Online and you can access them remotely when phone connected to
If camera does not detection a motion,double check camera motion detection settings
When use Tapo camera sense a motion, double check if motion has triggered (enabled Alarm for camera and Alarm will go off when it detect a motion )
Can you help confirm some details if smart action does not work properly:
1. the photos of the smart action settings
2. phenomena and the time : e.g. camera sense a motion at 8AM UTC+4, but bed light stays off
3. Model of your phone and its Andriod or IOS version
Tapo APP version
4. the model of devices and its Mac address. ( please share MAC to us via private message)
5. try to reproduce the issue and help collect the camera log

After your feedback, we tested Tapo C310 and the Tapo P110 plug in the lab and the smart action work as it should.
From the email you registered the community, 3* Tapo Cameras are Offline and one of them is online right now.
Please ensure you could access the camera remotely when phone is not on home Wi-Fi network.
- If not, try to reboot camera from the APP and see if camera can be accessible when phone is on mobile data or non-local wifi.
Or factory reset and reinstall the camera in the APP.
If you could access camera when phone is on mobile data but concern persists, kindly help to provide the above information and we'd like to look into that further.

Hey ! I have checked all the settings again today and the cameras only activate my p100 socket via smart actions if I have activity notification activated. have tried with all my cameras both motion detection and AI detection.

Thank you for more test and reply here, we tested with Activity Notification turned off, the automation between Tapo C310 and Tapo P110 still works.
With activity notification off, you could check Automation page, at the bottom there is History and see if there is any log.

I will check if there is any P100 and test later. Can you also try to reproduce the problem and help provide some information as in #2 here if this can not be reproduced we need some other details for troubleshooting, thank you for your understanding.

hardware: 1.20.0
firmware: 1.4.10. Build 20211104. Rel.35882
the problem must be the smartplug

Hello again !
how are you doing with p100? have found lots of people who have problems with their p100 sockets and it seems that the sockets do not update their firmware as they should. as I understand it, there should be newer firmware for p100 than version 1.4.10 but I get the message that I have the latest.
the problem seems to lie with you and your outlets.

Sorry for the late reply, if smart action works fine with Activity Notification ON, you could keep this option ON as the workaround.
If you do not receive notifications, turn off the Notification permission on the phone for Tapo app.
Unfortunately I wasn't able to find a P100 for test , if the workaround does not work we'd like to confirm some case details and follow up your case through support email TKID220801850, please check your email inbox , thank you.
