EAP 245 v3 Firmware 5.0.6
Hello,
Just tried this firwmare out and downgraded back to 5.0.5. I noticed that my access point shows a lot more errors and dropped packets on this firmware. I get pretty close to zero errors and dropped packets on 5.0.5 compared to 5.0.6.
Thanks.

Support received this information from me with a topological overview of my network, but I'm happy to post it again in the forum. I use an OC200 controller, an ER605 works as a router and a Fritzbox 7590 sits in front of it as a modem.

I use a software controller (raspbian/arm64), so that's not the issue. Rolling back firmware on the EAP225 and EAP245 solves the issue. Perhaps it's an individual setting for the Wi-Fi (I haven't gone through all the combinations of setting options). I don't have this problem with a newly added EAP670.

Dear @calimansi808, @GPB, @Palm_Maniac, @wirSeefahrer,
Thank you all for providing the detailed information to help investigate and fix the issue.
And also thank @Philbert and @btx for your efforts to try locating the issue here.
Regarding the issue that EAP245 V3 5.0.6 firmware shows a lot more errors and dropped packets on 2.4GHz compared to the previous 5.0.5 firmware, it's confirmed to be a wrong statistics problem, and the next official firmware will resolve it.
If you are looking for a quick solution, you may follow this solution post to get the Beta firmware to fix the issue temporarily.
Thanks so much for your great cooperation and patience!

I upgraded to the latest 5.0.6. I don't think it is a wrong reporting function. My cameras are dropping out left and right now. There is something very wrong with 5.0.6.

Have you tried the 5.0.7 Beta firmware provided in the mentioned solution post for checking?
Do you have the dropping out issue on your cameras after you reverted back to the previous 5.0.5 official firmware?

I've been testing 5.0.6 for the last week. Yes, the errors / retries are real. My cameras randomly disconnect all hours of the day and night with 5.0.6. Something is very, very wrong with 5.0.6 on the 2.4ghz network.
I just downgraded to 5.0.5 and my cameras were back to stable instantly.

He's asking you if you tried the 5.0.7 beta version available in the post below? We know 5.0.6 had issues...of course. Cheers. :)
