Currently, we have TL-SG2428P access switches (13 units) and Unifi Wireless Access Point (25 Units). Now, I would like to install core switch to connect all the access switches to it and also need to have NGFW to secure and manage the entier network in single window. Can any one help us to find the right solution for this requirement. Thanks.

About the core switch, you need to look for an L3 switch. SG3428, this is an L3 switch. For the 2428, it can meet most requirements for regular use. Have you checked the settings on 2428? Anything that is missing and you need to use on an L3?

  @John1234

Thanks for your response. I am looking for core switch with 24 port SFP and also thinking to go for Aruba or Huawei switches. Will it be any issue if I chose other brand? please advise. Thanks again.

  @bhhussain

Should be no problem with that. Pretty much L3 functions have the industrial standards. There should be no compatibility issues. Rest assured.
