Model: TL-SG3428X
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version:

I have a TL-SG3428X and a TL-SG2210P with OC200 controller and ER605 router. The OC200 is managing all devices. The devices all seem to work properly and stable, but SFP+ connection between SG3428X and SG2210P doesn't work (works with LAN). No SFP light on SG3428X or SG2210P turns on when I connect them with the SFP cable.

To make sure the SFP cable is good, I tried it between the SG2210P and a HP switch, it works. SG2210P SFP light turns on. But it doesn't work between the SG3428X and the same HP switch, no SFP port light turns on the SG3428X.

Two questions:

- Do I need to configure or enable SFP ports on SG3428X before using?

- How can I configure them through the OC200? It doesn't seem to have any config available for speed or half/full duplex modes of SFP ports on either SG3428X or SG2210P. However if I remove the SG3428X from the OC200 controller then I can login to the SG3428X and configure those ports for half/full duplex and speed.

- Does SG3428X needs a specific type of SFP cable?! Or the device is simply defect and needs a replacement?

Dear @Rouzbeh ,

This issue may happens because SG3428X's SFP port is 10G but SG2210P's SFP port is 1G, you need to change the link speed of SG3428X to 1G manually on the controller.

You can go to Ports----Click Profile Overrides-----Choose link speed to Manually, then change it to 1000Mbps. The below picture as reference:

As for the half/full/auto duplex, just need to be same with the settings on the SG2210P.
