MAC address binding
Could You please help me. I have TL-R605 router, OC200 controller, a number of managed switches TL-SG2008P V1.0 and TL-SG2008 V3, four access points EAP225 V3 firmware 5.0.5, two EAP225-Outdoor V1 firmware 5.0.5, one EAP110-Outdoor V3.0 firmware 5.0.2, one EAP115-Wall V1 firmware 5.0.1, two access points EAP620 HD V2 firmware 1.0.1 - all EU versions.
Everything is operating very well, no complaints. The only problem I face is that some clients (different types of WiFi sensors, IoT devices) sometimes connect to access points which are located at a longer distance and with a weaker signal, not to the closest access point. As a rule it happens after the power outage, but after the power is resumed, I have to re-connect that client via OC200 and after that it reconnects to the closest access point.
Is it possible to bind certain clients via their MAC addresses to manually selected (closest) access point via OC200 management window?
Or as a workaround, to forbid such a client to connect to all, but one (closest to the client) access point?
If that is not possible, could such a feature be implemented in future updates?
Sorry for my broken English, as that is not my mother tongue.
