Hello,

I've recently updated one of my switches in my network and now the speed has been reduced to 100Mbps coming from 1000Mbps.

So my network setup looks like this:

Modem <-> Switch 1 <-> Switch 2

Switch 1 is the TL-SG105E and has one cat5e cable running to Switch 2 with a speed of 1000Mbps before the upgrade.

Old switch was a TL-SG1005D (v5.0), new one is a GS308E.

I don't understand why the speed between TL-SG105E and GS308E is only 100Mbps while it was between the TL-SG105E and TL-SG1005D 1000Mbps.

I don't think it is the cable as this wasn't the changed, nor damaged during the installation of the GS308E.

Anyone some ideas on what might be wrong?
