C200 only allows 5 mins of streaming before prompting!
Hi my c200 randomly pops up the window after 5 minutes of monitoring and asks if I would like to continue the stream. How do I resolve this issue? It is my baby monitor and I need to be monitoring it continuously. I am watching the stream through the TAPO app, both my devices are on the same WIFI network, there are no firewall settings enabled that blocks devices within this network and lastly both my devices have the most updated software and/or firmware.
Thanks for the help in advance!

It seems crazy that if you are using a TP-Link mesh network that they seem to expect you to connect to the main AP. The whole point of a Mesh system is that the more distant locations for devices such as cameras are out of range from the main router!
Lets have a proper solution rather than a complex, ineffective work around.
Even providing a web interface is better than nothing so you can login using a redirect service such as NO-IP etc. using port forwarding.
There are many other cameras at a similar price point that do not have these limitations.

Hello @Stewart Appreciate for the feedback, as this concern could be related to network environment, it would be better to simplify the network map if possible. For your request of the web UI, here is a topic of view camera on the computer that may help.

@Bogeyrex as they pay for cloud comms. They save money by stopping your service. very sad way to profit from your customers. Pathetic indeed and it is the last time I buy cameras systems from TP.

@lkenlken The only way I have been ble to stream remotely is using an app called TinyCAM. It does require some knowledge to set up port forwarding in your home router and the app uses rtsp as the connection type and I have it monitoring cameras from different vendors. You cannot change any camera parameters though....
This is an interim solution until I can get rid of all my TP-Link cameras as their app is completely useless - and even for controlling their lights it can take ages for the app to 'see' them all.

I was going to try this camera, but manufacturers don't seem to get that most people want to be able to continuously view the camera with no prompting.
I've tried other cameras that won't allow continuous viewing and it is extremely frustrating. For me, it's a deal-breaker.

@lkenlken Please remove this stupid 5 mins streaming if the connection is not in the same network. The main purpose of the CCTV is to monitor it 24/7 w/o interruption. regardless where you at.

I turned on airplane mode and turned it off after 5 seconds. This resolved it for me on an ios device.

@Solla-topee what is the solution if we use an external network other than the local network,
because we want to monitor our house when we are not at home,
Please update to make it easier for us to monitor live without having to be interrupted
