Hi All,

Based on this FAQ released on 09-18-2020 05:54:44 AM. I have asked support about the firmware mentioned being available but they dont seem to know anything.

TP-Link New Safestream Router, Jetstream Switch, and Omada AP can be managed by Omada SDN Controller. For the Old Jetstream Switch, we have released the new firmware to fit for Omada SDN Controller. If you are using the old Jetstream Switch, you can download the new firmware from the TP-Link Office Website. I have the 1600 version of these switches that are mentioned.

Could someone please steer me to the TP-Link Office Website.

Thanks

Dear @silentcleric,

Sorry for any inconvenience caused!

The SDN firmware for the switches below is already on the way, there might be some days delay when it is finally showing up on the official website (one week or so, and it varies from different regions). Please pay close attention to the TP-Link official website for the firmware update. Thank you for your great patience.

@Fae  Thank You.

  I went from tp-link to Ubiquiti but it just was not as stable as I had hoped and the equipment runs so much hotter it required extra cooling so I am back with tp-link. I have gotten used to the SDN network managment so I am happy to see that tp-link is moving in that direction.
