OC 200 controller won't send email notifications
Hello!!!
I have a OC 200 controller, i have setup the mail server like this:
I've tested the smtp server and the test mail delivered correctly.
But when i am testing the notifications, i wont get any email.
For example:
I disconnect a EAP, i am taking the alert, but i wont get any email. And i am repeat that the test mail was delivered correctly.
Any thoughts of missing something? ?
Thank you for your time!

Did you enable Alert Emails in Site/Admin as well?
Please read Page 316-320 from the SDN User Guide to set for alert emails.
Hope this information is helpful. Best regards!

Dear @citystore,

On the Devices page, we can configure an Alias for the AP. After that, it will only send the notifications about the AP with the Alias instead of the MAC. May I know why you want it to send both the MAC address and the Alias of the AP?

Sorry i don't want to send both mac and alias, it was a typo. I've already set alias at the AP, but the mail delivered with the MAC of the AP.
On the Devices page, make sure the AP is showing up with the Alias you set instead of the MAC address. Besides, ensure there is an operation that generates the alerts for the AP, then check the info under Log--Alerts, see if the message for the AP shows with the alias or the MAC address (you may locate to the content search box, search the MAC address or Alias of the AP to have a check).
