Can EAP 110 handling 200 users simultaneously streaming youtube video in 144p quality?
Hi All,
In User Guide
3.3 Portal Authentication
3.3.3 Local User
We can setting our client to limit
- Maximum Users (1-2048)
- Rate Limit (Download)
- Rate Limit (Upload)
Can I setting like this:
- Maximum Users: 200
- Rate Limit (Download): 512Kbps or 64KBps (this rate can streaming youtube video in 144p quality without buffering)
- Rate Limit (Upload): 512Kbps or 64KBps
Can EAP 110 handling 200 users simultaneously streaming youtube video in 144p quality?
Note: my input router ISP give me Rate Limit 300Mbps or 37.5MBps
Thx

I have 10 oc200 on different clients with at least 10 EAPS on each. some clients 110out, 115, 225out, 225, 245 EAP110 out, EAP 115, are not able to take advantage of any of the roaming functions and other functions, among others, nor SSID capacity of more than 8, therefore, for robust solutions this is not up to par. If an EAP belongs to a suite, which is capable of needing ROAMING, because it has 4 EAPs or more, and this does not PERFORM ROAMING, then it does not serve what it was conceived for. This is not my invention, you can check tplink's DATA SHEET to corroborate it.
do you may if i setting one of them?

Hii @BruMa
100mbps 1 router 1 oc200 10 AP for 20 user right?
first we have to make sure that input to router to AP to only 1 user device is 100mbps with this topology
100mbps --> cable cat5 --> router (default setting) --> cable cat5 --> AP (default setting) --> 1 device (example 1 laptop and test speed got 100mbps)
if from AP to laptop got 100mbps go next step to setting to 20 device (check 9 other AP)
if from AP to laptop do not got 100mbps than cek router with this topology
100mbps --> cable cat5 --> router --> cable cat5 --> 1 device
if from Router to laptop got 100mbps than replace AP with other AP
if from Router to laptop do not got 100mbps than check cable
100mbps --> cable cat5 --> router --> new cable cat5 --> 1 device
if from Router to laptop got 100mbps than use new cable cat5
if from Router to laptop do not got 100mbps than ask your ISP
if from every 10 AP to 1 laptop got 100mbps go next step to setting to 20 device
make sure all 10 AP setting is default than all you have to do is
1. make one SSID at 2,4Ghz every AP (SSID1_2,4Ghz for AP1, SSID2_2,4Ghz for AP2, ect) and one SSID at 5Ghz if supported every AP (SSID1_5Ghz for AP1, SSID2_5Ghz for AP2, ect)
2. make same password for all SSID
3. add 20 mac address from 20 user device to all 10 AP
4. no limit bandwidth
5. all user do is save automatically all SSID in their device so when they activate their device, the device will automatically go to the best signal SSID
if user move, then ask him/her to turn of wifi and turn on again to get the best signal or just tap the best SSID
hope useful
thx
