Failsafe and VOIP? VPN & Mac?
Region : UnitedStates
Model : TL-ER6120
Hardware Version : V1
Firmware Version :
ISP :
I am interested in using this router for my small business. Currently 5 VOIP phones, 6 iMacs, 4 iPads, 2 servers, 2 wifi access points, and 1 NAS. I have two internet connections, Cable, and DSL.
Goals:
1. I'd like to be able to send all the VOIP traffic over the Cable, with auto-failover to the DSL. All the phones are setup on a separate switch, so is it possible to setup a VLAN on that Lan port and use that to drive all the VOIP over one WAN instead of having to setup protocol binding?
2. I have a lot of macs. Right now, i'm using a netgear SRX5308 VPN router, but its VPN is not mac compatible. Have people used TP-Link VPN routers with mac and had any trouble?
