Hello All!
I’m  wondering if there is a chance to suceffully  implement 802.1x network authorization, based on certificates  (from local CA in Microsoft domain environment) .

I’m using following components:
Switches:
Hardware Version     - T1600G-52PS 1.0
Software Version - 1.0.1 Build 20160411 Rel.42666(s)
Radius Server:
Network Policy Server on Windows 2012 R2   
Clients (suplicants)
Windows 10 and Windows 8 Proffesional without dedicated TP-Link 802.1X client software.

 

In KB articles regadring 802.1X I can find solutions based on username & password authorization but I need to use certificates - it's much more convinient for management.

If you don't want to use username and password for 802.1x, you can try to use the MAB feature. It can authorize automatically based on MAC address.
