Hey guys,

I am really new in TPLink and business router, so please have mercy.

We have a TL-ER510 and in in the configs.
Network -> LAN -> DHCP we have a range from 192.168.5.1 - 192.168.5.253 (default Gateway: 192.168.5.254).

Is it possible to expand the range like: 192.168.5.1 - 192.168. 7.253 (default Gateway: 192.168. 7.254),

Or what would be the correct way?

Thanks, zesa

It cannot set the IP range to 192.168.5.1- 192.168.7.253. It has contained different subnets.
If you need to configure multiple subnets, you need a router which support multiple DHCP server. I think TL-ER5120 doesn't support this.

Yes, it doesnt support the feature :(
So if I have more than 254 clients / printers / e.g. , I must to buy a new router, right?

As I know, ER5120_V3 supports up to 300 clients.
You can set up the static IP address or use other DHCP servers for other clients. Because they are in the different subnets, you need to configure the feature of multi-nets NAT and static routing.
