@JQuin Place the gateway in bridge mode and the router in router mode. Be sure to use good cables. May need to try different firewall settings. In most cases, do not use QoS. Use different ssids.

@MySunshine I would bypass the router and connect a PC direct to the modem and see what speeds you get. That will tell you where to check next.

@solomoncyj Per the user guide for the X50... If you use a USB hard drive, make sure its file system is FAT32, exFat, NTFS or HFS+.

@JayGNoCal What kind of speeds do you get if you connect a pc to the ethernet port of the AP and what ethernet speeds on the router. Do you have any devices on the AP that do heavy traffic such as...

@Orukal If it was me, if it working, way worry about it. I suspect if you turn off smartconnect and use separate ssids then it would show correctly. side note... I prefer to not to use smart connect...

@solomoncyj One thing that can cause this is if the usb drive is pulling to much power for the router. Use a powered hub. Be sure you are using the disk formats that are supported by that router....
