I just received this product. 

I need it for my condo garage parking spot as a security camera in case my car gets damaged by another car (which already happened in the past). So I am placing a microSD card in it, to record any movement and rely on it when I find my car damaged (play the SD card on my computer).

The problem is, the WiFi is very spotty in the garage. But I thought if I set up the camera with the app at home, with my WiFi, I can then place the camera behind my parking spot in our garage, set up the angle, etc, connected to the app on my iPhone.

Can it be done?
