Model: HS200
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

I have a few of the switches hs200 and a few dimmers hs220s. I had to reset my router to factory and I am unable to connect any or the switches to the new wifi. Some I get to the naming stage and it says something went wrong. Ive restored all switches to factory, have uninstalled kasa app and reinstalled it.

Hello @VegaMaverick85

May I know do you use the same WiFi router as before? May I know the WiFi Led status on switch if set up failed, is it blinking red or flashing green.

You could try some basic troubleshooting suggestion here:

What should I do if I fail to configure the Kasa device?

  • Make sure phone VPN is OFF during set up
  • If switch flashing green, try to set router DNS server to 8.8.8.8, save the settings and see if that helps.

May I know the model of phone and its Andriod IOS version, model of router, does switch connect to router directly or through extenders, a photo of Error on Kasa app, thank you.
