Model: HS103
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version:

I am trying to figure out the amperage rating for HS103.  I've got a 1500W heater (Kenwood ew7507ek) that draws 12.5 amps.

The TP-Link website shows that the HS103 is rated for 12A, but what's printed on the body is 15A.

I am trying to figure out if I can use the HS103 for this heater and want to understand the amperage discrepancy.

@Mwill

You would go off of what the label on the device shows. I believe the v1 mentioned 12 amps.

If you are close to going over the recommended amperage that might be risky. Should the heater ever spike it could cause problems.

@Tony Ok, thank you.  I will go with the amperage marked on the plug.
