Cannot connect new HS103 V2 Smart Plug Lite to Wifi
Just purchased two HS103 Smart Plug Lite from Amazon. Took them out today, I've followed all the rules for installation (ensuring 2.4Ghz, downloaded the Kasa app, tried to Add Device, manually selected the Kasa Plug wifi network (TP-LINK_Smart Plug_xxxx) from my wifi settings on my iPhone, went back to the Kasa app, but it literally just sits there on the "Connect to Wifi" page, where it tells me to connect my iPhone to my Wifi network to continue setup. I've tried resetting the Smart Plug, resetting my router, tried both of the plugs I bought, and NOTHING works, I literally cannot go any further with the setup process. My phone sees the Wifi network the plug is putting out, but the app doesn't seem to register it. Has anyone else had this problem or know how to fix? Thanks is advance.

@B.Will thanks for the input, I was thinking along the same lines and tried that, figured that would stop my phone from connecting to Cell signal, but even Airplane mode wouldn't work. I've contacted TPLink customer service to try to figure out what the heck is going on.

Your Welcome. I have read that after iPhone update, people having this problem, and airplane mode fixed it.

I'm having the same problem. Went through set up several times and it will never connect. Tried the airplane mode suggestion and still not working.

@jcozn2 I had a similar issue with some of my plugs. I used both an iPhone/iPad and no success. Then I used my son's android phone and bingo, he connected 4 of them in less time than I connected 1 with my iPhone. I'm not sayig this is the same as your issue, but the app/phone could be your offending variable (sometimes).
Aslo, sometimes during the install, I get a notification from my Echo Dot that it has detected the new plug, even though Casa has not finished setting up yet ... go figure!

Having the same issues as described above. Tried in airplane mode on Android and iOS. Gets stuck on "Obtaining IP address" and never connects to the router. Any other next step suggestions before I return them?
I'm using an Asus Blue Cave router with the newst firmware. Also, my Android and iOS are the most recent versions (I have a Pixel 3a and iPhone 7).

Same issue. Tried the set up.on 2 Android phones and an iPad. Itnisnun able to connect to WiFi. Reset plug a couple times but still no luck.
