I have several groups of cameras that overlap. What I want is when one is triggered, all overlapping cameras focus on the trigger and record.  We have some vandals trying to open cars, one of the cameras was triggered but the overlapping one did not capture it because to was facing on the wrong direction.

to avoid this, I think a feature in which a trigger will automatically pan the cameras in the group to that trigger, is needed.

This is what I am looking for. With the help of AI for the description: "if one camera triggers focus all csmeras to location"

Yes, you can set up a system where detecting motion or an event on one camera triggers other cameras to focus on the same location, or to record, using features like contextual triggers, shortcuts, or dedicated trigger boxes.

Here's a breakdown of how this can be achieved:

1. Contextual Triggers (for PTZ Cameras):

  • How it works:

A "trigger camera" detects movement or an event in a specific area. This information is then used to direct a PTZ (Pan-Tilt-Zoom) camera to focus on that same location.

  • Example:

A trigger camera detects a person in an overlapping field of view with a PTZ camera, and the PTZ camera is instructed to follow that person.

  • Best Use Cases:

Monitoring areas where no person should be present, such as an emergency exit or an off-limit zone.
