When watching a clip of a quiet room the sound bounces in and out, making a terrible scratchy noise. Clearly the mic has a decibal floor and won't start recording until something is loud enough to trigger it. Amazingly, this even happens with continuous recording to an SD card, which I don't understand.

We need the option to keep the microphone on 24/7 with no decibel floor. If the video can do it, why not the sound? Even my 12 year old Dropcam could do this!
