I have a Netgear GS116Ev2 (16‑Port Gigabit Smart Managed Plus Switch). I am trying to access the Admin page for it. I have my Deco W600 x2 set up properly, ISP Gateway > Main Deco > Switch > 2nd Deco. I have followed Netgear's instructions for accessing the switch's admin interface via browser and ethernet connection but it is not working. I even used the NETGEAR Switch Discovery Tool app, it provides me with the local IP address but that's not working either. I magine it's because Deco/TP-Link has some sort of protocol in place preventing access as the switch isn't showing up on any client list on the Deco app or third party app. Any help would be appreciated, thank you!

 

Below are the steps I have followed from Netgear. 

To use your web browser to configure your switch:

  1. If you are configuring the switch off-network, record your computer’s TCP/IP configuration settings, and then configure the computer with a static IP address of 192.168.0.210 and with 255.255.255.0 as the subnet mask. If you are unsure how to do this, visit netgear.com/support and search for Static IP address on computer.
  2. Open a web browser and enter the IP address of the switch. If the switch is connected to a network with a DHCP server (which usually is a router), use the IP address that the DHCP server assigns to the switch. If the switch is off-network or connected to a network without a DHCP server, use the switch’s default IP address, http://192.168.0.239.

 

I did also try the LAN IP address that the switch discovery tool app provided but that's not working either.
