When the internet goes out and I lose network connectivity, my Kasa smart switches do not all show the same status which is a bit confusing. Most of them show solid red for the wi-fi signal, meaning no signal (this is the expected status). However, some of the 3-way switches show no status at all (nothing lit up on the switch). I'm guessing that's just because they're configured as "slaves" to the "master" switches? But there are also a few single-pole switches that show a flashing green indicator. Why would these be flashing green instead of solid red like most of the other switches?
