C425 offline issue

Hi,
I recently bought the Tapo C425 camera, and it works fine in the first couple of weeks, but this week, it start to encounter "offline" issue. I checked my wifi router, the camera still connect to my wifi, so it should not be the wifi signal issue, Plus I have a Tapo door bell, which almost have the same distance as this C425 camera to my home wifi router and works well. So what could be the reason of this offline issue and is there any other solution besides mannually reset/restart the camera?
Thank you

@Mojole Exactly the same issue, all 4 cameras are offline. 1 of them has the latest update 1.2.24.
I'm starting to be extremely annoyed as I don't live at the house yet meaning I HAVE TO COMMUTE there for 45 minutes,
grab a ladder and climb to a 4-meter height to manually restart them.
The lack of any communication in this regard from Tapo is honestly outrageous.
For one, why can't I reboot the camera remotely? Connecting to it directly using it's own wifi & rebooting it from my phone? Meaning that I don't have to climb to the camera every single time it goes offline?
Why is no one communicating with us in this regard? It's clearly a firmware issue, cameras were working fine prior to the 1.2.23 update?
Why won't you rollback to 1.2.22 until you figure out the issue and fix it? How can I trust you with your product when you roll out such a utterly useless update rendering my property completely unsecured?

@Nxi usually when these things happen, the new firmware is thrown in the trash and the latest stable is restarted, then thoroughly testing the changes added before releasing a new version. But the important thing would be to give users the chance to return to a stable situation. Why isn't this done?

It's been 2 weeks since none of the 6 cameras have been offline. I modified the router to work on Channel 11 with a bandwidth of 20 Mhz. So far I haven't experienced any offline issues. Try it and see if it works in your case.

@EGR76 bit awkward to set specific channel in my case, I have multiple access points around the house running all sorts of devices, cameras iot devices. The C425's are the only ones going offline.
I even set static IP addresses as was mentioned for the C425 but made no difference.

@EGR76 Hopefully TP-Link can use some of our feedback to help solve this issue. I think you're right about the firmware, I've had one of my C425 for a while and the offline issue has been more recent.

Yesterday, I got the firmware upgrade for the oldest C425. I still have two more C425 cams running version 1.23.

I got the latest firmware update for both cameras, and it's better now, instead of going offline for half of the day, it goes a couple of times a day and each time 1~2 hours!
good improvement, you can make it!
Useless camera, with no support!

@Mojole i still have 2 cams with the 1.23 and they have the issue. The one with the 1.24 seems working better but I got warning about battery drain...
