HS210 3 way switch cannot tell via the app if the load is energized. Doing some testing if the ground wire in the 3wire Romex (traveler cable) is disconnected it does work. Is the device being fooled if there is to much capacitive leakage current going to ground?

Only one smart switch installed on line side of 3way circuit. Manual switching works. App works will turn switch on and off just indication of energized load is incorrect. Distance between switches is 75' in basement. Pulled switch out of wall and made sure traveler cable was not running parallel to other circuits to verify no induced voltages.
