BE63 Constant Issues

So I have a Deco BE63 and I'm having some issues. Latest firmware is on it and what's going on is a complete loss of connection. It's random it can happen at any time and I have checked everything and also had my ISP take a look to make sure it's not on there end. They came out and checked and everything is normal all speeds are normal all wiring is new they even replaced my Ethernet going from my ONT to the deco just to be on the safe side. Problem is still occurring. I also have tried running the BE63 in AP mode and while that stopped the Ethernet drop off there is also another bug where in AP mode I am only getting half my speeds on the download side. The upload is fine. But as soon as I put the BE63 back in router mode the speeds goes back to normal. I even tried hooking my old Orbi system back up and ran that for a few days. I had no random disconnections at all. I'm at wits end trying to figure this out. Someone had mentioned this was a known problem with HW version 1.6 and the newest HW version fixed the connection issues. Any truth to that?
thanks

I too am having constant issues with BE63.
Starting configuration (having issues):
Xfinity XB8 (2.5 Gb port) cable modem in bridge mode --> MAIN be63 in router mode via Cat 6 cable --> TPLink 2.5 GB 8 port switch via Cat 6 --> OFFICE be63 satellite access point and BEDROOM be63 satelite access point, both hardwired with cat5e
Tried a bunch of configurations, including putting TP Link router between cable modem and be63 or switch.
The configuration that SEEMS to be working is:
Xfinity XB8 (2.5 Gb port) cable modem in gateway mode (modem + router) with wifi bands disabled --> TPLink 2.5 GB 8 port switch via Cat 6 --> MAIN be63 (access point mode), OFFICE be63 satellite access point and BEDROOM be63 satelite access point, all hardwired with cat5e.
So I lose a lot of router admin functionality (e.g. changing DNS servers...xinfity doesn't allow for any other DNS servers) but connections SEEM to be more stable.
NET-NET: Based on my experience and a TON of posts about Decos in general (not just be63), I would NOT buy Decos (or TPLink) hardware again.

I'm having those problems too in 2025 the most recent update did help a lot but still happens just not as often like it was before. where it was happening every day. I just wish I would of got the newer version. I have contacted deco support but getting them to actually help you with a solution is like pulling teeth because they'll make you do all these troubleshooting things that you've already told them that you've tried and then once all the things that they make you do don't work they will forward you to the engineer and then the engineer goes and makes you do the things that you already said doesn't work and so after going back and forth for 2,3 weeks without any progress or solutions i finally gave up and this happened each time I've asked support for help. And the thing that gets me mad is that the engineer sees that nothing we're trying is working and that they know the be63 V1 has been defective since it's release and they should just RMA V1 and send out Version 2 as the replacement. @icehawk940
