Hi, I recently installed the Mac app for Tapo. Upon connecting to my TC70 360 camera, it works great. However, if I hit the fullscreen button, it rotates the display within the app's frame and I cannot get back from it.

If I manage to somehow get to the full screen button or back button, which are now offcanvas, when I return to the app, it's all sideways. Only a quit and relaunch will get rid of it. And if I use the fullscreen option, same again. stuck 90 degrees rotated.

What gives? QA on holiday? lol

Hi TP-Link Support,

I recently installed the Mac app for Tapo and connected it to my cameras. While the cameras work fine initially, I’m encountering a significant issue with the fullscreen feature. When I hit the fullscreen button, the display rotates within the app’s frame.

If I manage to access the fullscreen or back button (which are now off-canvas), when I return to the app, the display remains sideways. The only solution is to quit and relaunch the app. However, the issue reoccurs every time I use the fullscreen option, leaving the display stuck at a 90-degree rotation.

Here are my system details:

Computer: MacBook Air, M1, 2020

Mac OS: 14.5 (23F79)

Chip: Apple M1

Tapo Software Version: 3.4.503 (34515)

I am using the app with three different Tapo cameras:

Model C520WS (Hardware version 1.0, Firmware version: 1.2.7 Build 240306)

Model C200 (Hardware version: 3.0, Firmware version: 1.3.13 Build 240327)

Model C100 (Hardware version 4.0, Firmware version: 1.3.11 Build 231121)

Could you please investigate this issue and provide a solution? It would be greatly appreciated if TP-Link support could respond to this problem.

Thank you!

Best regards,
Peter V
