1st switch has black, black, red, white

2nd switch has black, red, white

Connected 1st hs210 switch making sure the black wire on the black screw moved to the black screw on the hs210 and then connected the other black and the red wires to the traveler screws, the green to the box, and added the white to the tied off whites.  

Connected 2nd switch (stupidly not paying attention to which wire was connected to the black screw) by connecting the black wire to the black screw, the red wire to the traveler screw (same side as black wire on other switch), tied off white wires (white wire was connected to switch before), and green to box.

1st switch works as expected, connects to Kasa, etc.

2nd switch does nothing.

Have a meter.  Appreciate any help.
