When I first plugged it in, the iPhone saw it in the Setting-Wi-Fi screen. After configuring my other HS103P2 (I got a twin pack), it just doesn't appear in the list of availble networks.

What I have tried:

1. Unplugging it and plugging it back in.

2. Pressing and hold the button on the side until the LED starts blinking rapidly.

3. Just about putting my phone on the plug.

My other plug shows up fine:TP-LINK_SmartPlug_number

I saw two TP-LINK_SmartPlug_number listings when I first plugged them in.

  @DaveatHome

Try using a different device to see if you can locate the smart plug Wi-Fi. Please be aware that this WiFi is used for configuration only, it will disappear after the configuration.

Unplug it for a while and put it back, factory reset it again and wait until it blinks amber and green (setup mode). If it still doesn't work after trying this, it appears that there may be a hardware issue with this device. Please contact TP-Link Support to proceed with the warranty.
