Model: Deco X5700
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.1.5

My X5700 mesh has worked fine throughout various firmware upgrades, until the latest 1.1.5. After updating, I get sporadic issues with getting internet connection from my cable modem (Comcast service). It will disconnect and say "no internet available". The only way to get it working again is to reboot the mesh network. This happens 2-3 times per day.

In order to fix I needed to downgrade back to 1.1.4 and the issue goes away. Hopefully TP link is aware of this issue and either pulls the latest update or fixes soon.

  @Letsgetsnerdy

Thank you very much for your feedback.

I see this firmware is released last Thursday and so far It is the first feedback I have seen yet.

Could you please help me check some details:

1. Will the main Deco X5700 turn red during the disconnection?

2. May I know the model number of your Comcast cable modem?

Thank you again.

Wait for your reply.

Best regards.

  @David-TP Thanks for the quick reply! I did not check the LED light on the unit itself (i have it turned off via the app). I have a Netgear CM1100 modem. I updated the firmware on Thursday, when it was released and the issues got to a point where I had to downgrade later that night. The Deco app would show the red internet connection error, until I rebooted. Ever since going back to version 1.1.4, everything is working OK again. It is very difficult for me to upgrade the units again, since this will cause issues, and many folks rely on this mesh network for work internet.

  @Letsgetsnerdy Thanks a lot for the update. In this way, I will pay more attention and check whether there would be any similar feedback later.

Thank you for your feedback again.

Best regards.

  @David-TP Have there been any more reports of issues? Thinking about updating again, but want to confirm if I should. Thanks!
