Firmware Version: 1.0.3

After installing lattest app Version 3.1.2/ Build 1318, all my HS103's smart plugin's disconnect from my wifi connection. After trying basic wifi reconnection steps, wifi did not reconnect. I did a factory restart. App connected to the smart plugin, but it would not allow it to connect to my wifi. I have 26 KASA connections. Only the HS103 are not working. The products that are not affected by this issue that are in my smart home are (EP10; EP40; KP303; & HS200). Anyone else having this issue?

Yes, I have 4 HS103's that lost connection and will not reconnect. Also did a hard reset.

Kept trying, briefly, like 30 seconds, one of them showed up,  I was able to go to the settings and found out it is hardware 5.0 and firmware 1.03

I do not know how to update firmware. My Android Kasa ap on Galaxy S9 is 3.1.1 build 1115

Can you reboot your kasa plug by unplugging it and plug it back in. 

Do you mean the problems is any of the plug goes offline in the kasa app? Can you share a video clip of the problem?

Similar problem here. I have two HS103 switches, and when I went to control one of them this evening, the app (after making me log in again, accept the terms and conditions and privacy agreements) says, "No devices yet". Running iOS version 3.1.2. The support center gave me a beta 3.1.3 but it's no better.

 

The problem is that this product is designed for remote control, and my switches are at a mountain cabin 150 miles from me, so it's a major effort to get there (if indeed I can because of a snowstorm). Everything was reliable for a little over 2 years, but suddenly it seems to have forgotten my devices.

I called in a few days later, tech support walked me through it successfully. I was missing a step, forgot exactly what it was. Now my Alexa phone ap can not keep the plug switches listed after 30 seconds of inactivity.

For Kasa, problem solved!
