ES20M does not respond to motion

Hello,
I recently installed two ES20M motion sensing dimmers. Neither of them seem to be able to detect motion in our small bathroom, even if we wave our hands or stand directly in front of the them.
They work perfectly fine as smart dimmers, promptly responding to any in-person button presses plus remote control via the Kasa app, easily adjusting 3 dimmable LED bulbs. Unfortunately, neither of the two dimmers respond to human presence.
Some other notes: The room's temperature is around 65 degrees fahrenheit (we like it cool). Each switch was connected to its own dedicated circuit. The protective plastic shipping wrap were indeed removed from the face of the dimmers. :) Neither turns on from sensing motion in the dead of night when no other lights are on in the house. They also don't turn off after half an hour after they've been manually turned on.
The MAC Address on the one we currently have installed ends in "42:25".

- Please factory reset the dimmer switch by press the 'reset button 'on the bottom Left and resin tall in the kasa app, set the same settings and see if that helps solve it.

1. May I know how far from human and the switch, can you take a photo showing how the location where the dimmer switch has been installed.
2.And help take a video showing people walk in front it and how the dimmer switch response, you could share the video link with us by private message. , use GoogleDrive or OneDrive link.
3.Please share the MAC address of smart switch with us via private message.

@Paltiel I have the same exact model and same exact symptoms. I've installed two, neither respond to motion whatsoever. Bad batch?

If the dimmer switch does not response to the motion or movement,
Refer to FAQ here to double-check the settings How To Configure the Motion Sensor Feature on the KS220M Smart Switch
- Ensure the Motion Sensor on the Device Settings page is enabled, and the sensitivity is set to Far range.
- Check effective time schedule in the Smart Control, and Trigger is set to be “Motion detected”.
- Upgrade latest Firmware for smart device, ensure app is up-to-date as well
If still the same, please share the photo showing Smart Control settings, including the trigger/ schedule/ sensitivity (bypass the one you already provided)

@DestinationTex please help explain how did you test the motion sensor as detailed as possible as well, thank you!!

Thank you for the reply. I double checked that I already had these settings. The firmware is v1.08, HW v1.0, model ES20M and I verified that it said that no firmware updates are available. My app is also up to date according the the (Android) Play store.
I can wave my arms and dance like a clown, up close and far away, but the light does not activate with the motion. It is operating fine via the physical button and via the app to turn on/off/dim the light.

The factory reset worked for me! The lights turn on now, after about three seconds.

Also had this problem with a fresh out of the box ES20M switch where the motion sensor was not working. Factory reset as suggested fixed the issue. Thanks for the tip.
