Model: HS220  
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.0.3

I bought the HS220P3 and installed 2 without any issues.  Both switches dims then returns the lighting level to original setting at the same time every ~30 minutes. When this happens the wifi icon blinks green on the switch then remains solid green for 10 seconds.  
 

The locations of the switches have a strong wifi signal. Also, I have tried them with 2 different routers and this still happens. 
 

What could be causing this issue? What could I possible do to fix this flashing?

So I have received 2 replies by email (Thank you!) referencing a thread which states that the V2 version does dim the lights periodically whereas the previous V1 version did not. (I was not allowed to paste the link but you can find it in this forum)
 

Why is TP Link still selling the HS220 dimmer switch if it DOES NOT work??????  Wasting customers time and potentially money if they are not able to return it!!!???!!!

 

I hope people see this if they considering the dimmer so that they STAY CLEAR of it.
 

I will also be returning the 3 way switches and single pole switches I was planning on installing.

I'm having this exact same issue but can't find more detail / posts on it. I installed it and it's  FW 1.0.5 v2.0

 

Does anyone have a reference?

@Seeking_help I'm having this exact same issue and in the app it say  device unreachable but i have same switch  beside it no problem with it ??

@Issawi TP Link has not addressed this issues with the V2 from years ago. I ended up returning the HS220 lights and buying Leviton wifi dimmer switches which work perfectly.  It was such a waste of time. Sorry I couldn't be more help with the HS220, I'd return them if you still can.

@Seeking_help There is a 1.0.7 Beta firmware for the V2 hardware. It's deployed from a windows app. It's somewhere on this site. 

 

My dimmers been working fine ever since I installed it.
