HS200 won't turn off lights
All of a sudden, my lights connected to my HS200 switch will not turn off. If reset, restart, removed the device from my app, flipped the breaker, nothing is working. The lights have been on 24/7 for days. Help!

Does the manual toggle switch work? Are there any lights on the physical device? If so what are they doing?

As long as it is wired correctly and your still in warranty we can replace the switch. Send an email to Kasa.Support@tp-link.com and add a link to this thread to avoid troubleshooting with them.

The exact same thing started happening on one of my switches a couple months after I installed it. It just won't turn off - tried resetting it, flipping off the breaker, etc. I guess I need to unscrew the light bulbs...

My HS200 stopped working properly. The light will not go or cannot be turned off. This is the second light switch that has had this problem. The light switch is in my garage. The first light switch that did this was also in the garage. I have about 8 TP-LINK light switches. This is the only room that has this problem. The light switch cannot be turned off. Help!

For a time, I was able to make the switch turn off but hitting/jamming the switch rapidly with two fingers. After maybe 5 - 10 times rapidly in a row, the switch worked again for a time, but eventually failed where that trick would not work. I ended up returning the switch under warranty and I did receive another switch from tp-link, although that took a while. I haven't had this issue with the other switches I bought, but the one that failed did get used more often than the others.
