My outdoor plug gives me 2 messages when I try to change the schedule for turning on and off. The 1 st message is simply "connection error". If I hit the plus sign in the top right corner of the app it shows the message "socket closed by remote peer". What is the message trying to tell me is wrong?
Looks like something is killing or interrupting the connection.
If you saw this while on Wi-Fi, disable the Wi-Fi so you use your cellular connection.
If the error does not happen while on your cell data, it could be something on the network.
Other things to try is a different smartphone to see if the issue still happens, and also reinstalling the Kasa app.
