Firmware Version: No clue

Just purchased an RE220 and tried connecting Honeywell water detection device to network. The detection device finds the _EXT network and connects but the RE220 app shows zero (0) devices connected. I connected my laptop to the _EXT network and it shows one (1) device connected so I know that the extender can accept devices. Are some devices not compatible with the RE220 whereby they can't connect?  Thanks and UGH!!!

Since you tested the extender to make sure it can work, the next thing I would probably do is enable the mobile hotspot on your smartphone and see if you Honeywell can connect to that.

 

Make sure your Honeywell is not statically assigned an IP address, but is configured for DHCP like how your laptop is.
