Just bought Kaisa Smart wifi plug 2-outlets. I am trying to turn the Remote Control 'on' through the app but it errors out with the error message- "failed: already bind". 

 

Some googling suggests this may be because the device is bound to some other account but that's not the case as 1) i do not have another account associated with kasa and 2) the error message is different. Anybody else getting the same error? How did you resolve it?

 

I have already tried to remove the device and reconfigure. Still getting the same message.

If you are getting a message that the device is already bound, email our support (Support.USA@tp-link.com), be sure to include the MAC address of the plug, and they should be able to unbind the device to the existing account.
