Questions maybe someone can answer:

1. Within the total start-time/end-time interval, what are the maximum and minimum on times? Perhaps they are a percentage of the interval time; if so, what is the percentage?

2. Is there only one on/off cycle, or multiple cycles? Does that depend on the interval time? (E.g., if the interval is only 10 min., one cycle is understandable. If, say, 5 hrs., multiple cycles might make more sense.)

3. In the Kasa app, how to I set the start-time to sundown?

@realMJ

I don't know about question 1 or 2.

Question 3 setting sundown, tap on the triangle to the left and right of the time setting.

Yes. I see that now. Thanks! Any idea whether during an away mode start/end interval there can be more than one on/off cycle?

Running the same experiment here. I chatted with TP-Link support, and they did not know the answer.

Confirmed: Multiple on/off cycles per away mode interval. Perhaps only on if the interval is very short, but in my case it will be sundown to 10:30 PM.

@realMJ

Yes it went through 4 cycles in a 4 hour setting.

Being it is random it could run for one cycle of 4 hours.
