device name not showing in Widgets

device name not showing in Widgets

Hi @Carl and @Tony
Yesterday I added KP400 to my Kasa App.
Named them Outside 1, and Outside 2.
I added them to my Widgets.
On my Home screen they do not show as Outside 1 & 2.
They show as KASA_SMART P....
Is that how they should show?

No they should show up as named. Try to remove and then re-add the widget. See if it refreshes the names and let us know

I did remove all widgets, then removed Kasa device from home screen.
Added just Outside 1 and it still showed as KASA_SMART P...

Good to hear. Honestly i think the cloud just needed to time to update. We could not find a reason as of yet why it would display the name you set, so that seem like the only logical answer.
