  @judetf Can you explain exactly how you connected the satelite in the 4 way switch? There are 4 travelers in the 4 way switch (2 red 2 black). Satelites are also supposed to have the load wire connected and there is no load wire in a 4 way switch.

Please add native 4-way support - something that would be compatible with the KS230 kit.

 I've been DIY ing  for a long time with TP link products.  I just built a house and there are multiple locations with 4, and even 5 and 6 way.   I have drawn out the circuits checked things with volt meter and ohm meters to make sure everything is correct. However both sets I've installed so far failed. The 4 way switch does nothing.   If lights are on, flipping the 4 way flickers but stays on.  If lights are off nothing happens.  Pretty frustrating.  Customer service won't help because they don't support 4 or more way installation.  I'm using KS-230 kits.  All of my 3 way set ups and single poles work fine.  I need some (but not all) of the middle switches to work.  Any ideas anyone??   It seems like it would be easy to make and sell a pass thru switch that would transmit via wifi on and off????!!!!

  @board4mic

Is there any way to get dimming to work in this scenario, even if the app cant control it?

  @JM1010101 in my experience if the line and load switches (first and last) are installed correctly it can work.  However, I did get a "switch is incorrectly wired" note and had to turn breaker off then back on and it worked.  The lights sometimes are delayed in responding but the two pairs that I've installed work with the app just fine.

Attempting to get two KS 230 V 2.6 to work in a four-way set up. This version has a separate black wire to attach the load on the satellite. If I bypass the middle four-way switch, connecting the black wires to each other and the red wires to each other it works in a standard 3 way set up with a load attached to the load wire, or the load attached to the bottom traveler screw. When I attempt to put the satellite switch in the middle, the main switch gives a miss wired error in every configuration I can think of. I have attempted putting both red wires on the top screw and both black wires on the bottom screw, no luck. I also flipped them top and bottom, red on bottom and black on top. I have put black and red on the top screw and black and red on the bottom screw with no luck. This was done using black and red from the same wire as well as crossing them, meaning black from one wire and red from the other one one screw and the other two wires on the other screw. Any idea where I am messing up?

  @Beaugas were you able to get this situation remedied? I have the exact same issue.

If I'm willing to eliminate one of the switches in my 4-way (and just put a blank panel there), will the kasa 3-way dimmer kit work?
