3 way Dimmer switch?
Does TP-Link have any plans in the near future to release a 3-way dimmer switch? I have the HS200 and HS220. I would love it if the HS220 had the 3Way capability.

If the satellite/load switch does indeed *not* require a neutral wire (as seems to be indicated by the diagram), I'd be more than happy to use it. The *only* reason I asked about possibly using a dumb switch is because of a lack of neutral wire in some of my 3-ways (2 out of 3, in fact) and my assumption (which is looking incorrect) that both switches in the KS230 pair would require neutral wires.
Thanks for looking into this!

The Quick Installation Guide is up at the tp-link site:

And they are pretty direct that you are not to cross the traveler 1 and traveler 2 connections. So it would seem that Traveler 2 is always the feed to the load, with Traveler 2 presumably as a communication feed back to the the main switch. It would be interesting to know how it communicates, but it's pretty clear with this setup the you can't just use a 4-way in the middle to swap the travelers in a traditional configuration, as you can with the HS210 kit. It would be interesting to see if the satellite switch could be daisy chained to replace a 4 way switch in the middle with another satellite switch. I know the Leviton Decora Remote Dimmers can be used in this way, so there is some hope.
After being excited about this product since before it was announced, I did a walkaround of my house and realized almost all of the places that I was waiting to use this setup in actually have 3 switches with a 4-way in the middle. So I'm very hopeful that there can be a solution to this type of setup.

@Carl I just wanted to say thanks for keeping everyone updated on this. You've been consistent in responding to customers comments, which is something I don't see very often. There's been a "shoot the messenger" tone in here at times, but you keep coming back with updates regardless. We appreciate your work here and TP-Link getting this product out there based on customer requests.

Its the job. But i do really appreciate the kind words. Thank you. So everyone knows I am also in the process of making a installation FAQ. As well as Installation and setup videos. I also plan on having a product announcement like we did for the KS220M so keep an eye out on all of that coming soon.

Agreed. I wanted to see if there was a Kasa multi-pole dimmer switch (that way I can use the same app to manage othe other Kasa outlets and switches I have) and was happy to hear the KS230. Schedules and resources shift especially in a time when supply chains are facing ever constant challenges. Appreciate the updates @carl !

@Carl Thanks for posting that wiring diagram! I had been wondering if this would be useable in the case where line and load are present in box A and a 3 wire bundle goes from box A to box B. Based on this diagram it looks like my situation will work!
