3 way Dimmer switch?
Does TP-Link have any plans in the near future to release a 3-way dimmer switch? I have the HS200 and HS220. I would love it if the HS220 had the 3Way capability.

1) Where are you guys getting these or how to get on the early order / tester list? i cant find them anywhere as of yet. The launch is currently being held unit these concerns being discussed starting on page 25 are all addressed.
2) With the newer dimmable KS230 model, can the same configuration be used to split these up and use 1 kasa switch and 1 normal/dumb switch (keeping only 1 dimmer on the group)? Thinking should be fine, worked well and was supported with the HS210s but ive not yet seen a wiring diagram and model details; unsure. I want to say yes but I am unsure. The 2nd switch is a dummy/satellite switch and does hold a configuration so I would lean to yes but we have not tested with it.
3) Any concerns using HS230s or the HS210s in a simple 4-way combination where it goes from LINE --> 3 way (KS230) --> 4way --> 3way --> light) Right now I am being told no. The KS230 cannot be used in a 4-way environment. This might change in the future but with the information I currently have the answer is no.

Okay thank you. I will be honest I did not read that particular reply. As @Solla-topee was already helping @Connu I kind of glazed over that post. As I said in my response just after that post I was going to let Solla continue to work with him so the admins were not butting heads when working with and troubleshooting specific users. Where I will admit we failed is that we did not then collaborate with each other about what was being reported. This is why the additional concerns were being stated as being "new" to me and the local team. I have emailed the engineers and now just waiting for a response.

@Carl I'm new here but have plenty of the TP-Link Kasa products. The value of these things are off the charts. Way more reliable and less expensive than almost anything out there. I use them with my Hubitat system and it works flawlessesly with a community driver (PLEASE NEVER DISABLE LOCAL ONLY CONTROL! I DON'T WANT TO RELY ON THE CLOUD).
I have been desperately wanting a 3-way version forever though. You people who are getting so upset over a new product are kinda being babies. It's a light switch. In your residential establishment. It works for the most part and it's not like it isn't eventually going to be fixed and improved like every other product. How many firmware updates have you done in the past? Anyway, WHEN CAN I GET ONE?! It seems like people keep on saying they received one even past the date of the Amazon early release. I'll gladly take any of your early release ones off of your hands if you are that upset about them! Will it be end of this month or what?

Local control should always be available but Kasa is built around cloud control and that is how these devices communicate with assistants like, Alexa, Google and Smart Things. For availability it is currently on hold while we wait for these critical issues to be resolved. I hope it is within the month but I can't say with confidence right now. Once I can I'd be happy to let you and anyone else still waiting know.

That has got to be one of the most useless and ignorant posts on this forum. If we just wanted a "light switch that works for the most part", we could go to Menards and buy a light switch for $1.95 that 100% works. This "baby" bought three of these "light switches" for more than $150 that didn't work at all until a firmware release just days ago because of us babies. Now it "works for the most part" but doesn't do almost anything that's smart. I have spent many hours troubleshooting, contributing to this forum, and trying to help. Why don't you stop with the useless comments and name calling and try doing the same?

Return them and leave the forum then. MY comment is ignorant?! That's rich. You are constantly whining and complaining about a smart light smitch. You paid $150 for a few of them. Pennies compared to a commercial control product like Crestron, Lutron, etc. It will be worked out. Chill dude.

@Carl That's good to know about the local control. Thank you. That really opens the door for control system integration. Also, I am a certified AMX/Crestron and Extron programmer and have over 20 years of experience in audio/visual control. if you guys ever need any extra beta testers, I'd be happy to help.

Also, @Connu you may want to look at getting a hub as your go between for Kasa. I've found the routines and Alexa in general to be somewhat unreliable. I currently use Hubitat which has a user created driver to control Kasa. You can then use the Alexa integration in Hubitat to perform anything else. It supports many devices, Z-Wave, Zigbee and many IP driver devices. While I'm certain you and I got off on the wrong foot, I do think it's a better solution than relying on Alexa's routines and you may find it of interest.
