3 way Dimmer switch?
Does TP-Link have any plans in the near future to release a 3-way dimmer switch? I have the HS200 and HS220. I would love it if the HS220 had the 3Way capability.

Hi @ChrisNorthNJ,
I agree that some of them like #4 aren't showstoppers, but they make the release look sloppy - especially with all the other issues. The Amazon Routines and kasa scenes failures are a big deal to me because they represent the "smart" in these switches and we use these features every day. We have approximately 50 kasa switches and a dozen more Lutron motion dimmers in closets and other locations like the laundry room. We virtually never touch a light switch and with the automation we almost never use Amazon or the kasa app to turn switches on and off. I always convert the switches to "lights" in Alexa. This way, routines and timers ensure that the lights can never accidentally be left on overnight which is great with the kids. All the last one to bed has to do is ask Alexa to turn off all the lights otherwise they turn off automatically at various times around midnight anyway. I think this kind of smart automation for $15 a switch is absolutely amazing so I'm disappointed after waiting for a couple of years to see that these features are broken in the 3-way switches. I have at least a half dozen locations I would like smart dimmers that have 3-way circuits.
@ChrisNorthNJ, are you able to confirm all of the issues regardless of whether you use them or not?

I said i was not aware. As I stated earlier for users already being helped by other Admins I would allow those admins to continue helping those specific users. I have really only been able to focus on the replies tagging me specifically. So if other issues were mentioned to other admins or in a reply I was not specifically tagged in I may have missed it. No other issues in the discussions I had with my QA team or engineers mentioned anything other than the dimming to off issue that was reported first back on i believe page 25 of this thread. Being that we are now on page 40 obviously there is a lot to comb through. I am trying to be as through and transparent as possible. If you did mention something other than the dimming issue please let me know the reply number or page number so I can review and get the details together to engage with engineering.

Thanks @Carl.

However, it's kind of a slap in the face that tp-link just sent this email out. Why would it state that, "once the update is applied, the product should perform as intended" when everyone there should know that it absolutely won't? The product isn't ready for release! On top of that, we're asked to update our reviews if we were one of the 11 out of 11 that left a negative one. I think I might.

It seems that they are the same v1.09, but we don't know for sure because there aren't any release notes anywhere with the exception of the email that doesn't provide any version information..

That mailer was written on Friday by our local team here. If I or any of our team here were aware of any additional issues we would not have sent out the message as was stated. As I said we were not locally aware of any other issues until I saw your message yesterday. This is why its "specifically, some users have experienced dimming and turning off automatically" For the request at the end to update the review. This was added specifically because Amazon removed our ability to respond to reviews. We aren't asking users to update the star rating, just that the customer provides a update to the review stating their concern was addressed. As it states this helps us and users or potential users who may not know we did address the concern.

I received that email about 15 minutes ago, not last week. I had posted nearly a dozen times since last week the same 8 to 10 issues, and several on the forum stated the same.

I was hoping someone can help me (anyone) @Carl
I managed to open up the box and perform the installation. I verified my line/load/travelers/neutrals etc. I made sure not to cross the traveler 1 and traveler 2 connections on the satellite switch.
I get the following:
- the main switch has a solid green wifi light (doesn't blink green and amber)
- the satellite switch has the glowing "o" light
- the main switch doesn't generate a wifi (TP link SSID) for me to connect to
- resetting to factory settings doesn't seem to work
I can't get the TP link wifi to broadcast. Anyone know why? Thanks in advanced!

Hello@Connu, thank you for your detailed feedback in regard to the problem with the White Led indicator / dim level LEDs and Double tapping function, our team is currently doing some further investigation on these problems and trying to fix it, we will keep you informed if there are any further updates.
@Carl, I'll note again that @Solla-topee responded to my concerns and list of issues almost a week ago last Wednesday and hasn't responded to the forum since. I did however, use the link in the email to send the 8 issues I've found through that channel. Maybe that'll help get these resolved quicker or at least under the proper developer's nose.
