Ceiling fan switch
I was wondering if TP-Link is working on a ceiling fan switch (hoping with light control)? I don't like any of the smart fans out there and I refuse to buy any smart switches that require a hub.

I have two separate switches, but they appear to have a jump wire between them. If you don't mind me asking, how did you wire the switches to work the lights and the ceiling fan separately?

Do you have regular single pole switches controlling the fan and light?
Did you take a picture of the existing wiring?

I don't have a picture, but found a diagram online which has the same wiring as I do going into the switch 3 wires (copper, black, white) on one side and 4 wires (copper, black, red, and white) on the other. Then there's a gray jumper wire from one switch to the other.
I was going to try out this diagram, but haven't yet. Do you know if it will work?

I do not know how to wire this because of the number of wires to each switch (copper, black, white, gray on one and copper, red, black, white, gray on the other).
This maybe switches that are made for that specific fan.

As far as my knowledge is concerned I would say Hampton Bay Ceiling Fans would be great and they come with a light kit.

Can't agree more with this feedback.
Almost everything is Kasa and now with GE coming on strong I'm hoping I don't have to switch for a ceiling fan.
After a recent power failure, I realized my Hampton bay switches can use the same freq as the built in smart unit on my premium minka fan.
So really if all the diff brands all only use the same spectrum, should be pretty easy to support a ton of the radios already installed in everyone's fans via a new radio and wifi enabled fan control smart switch.
Please support this along with a way to possibly overlay another color, say oil rubbed bronze.

I would buy two of them if they made a ceiling fan with light control switch.
