Audio streams stepping over each other.... KC200
Has anyone else noticed that since you have to press the button to talk, after you're done talking, and by the time you let go and the system registers that you're not pressing it any more, the person has already finished their response and you never hear it?
I wish the app had the ability to keep the 2 way talking open so they don't cancel each other out.

@KillerQ When I first had my KC120, I tried to use it as a "walkie talkie" when talking, but now I just keep it held when someone is in front of the camera. There is the slight delay as the the commuincation needs to travel through the cloud, and with the sound effect it can get in the way.

Oh, it will work when it's held down? That's awesome!
figured that was too good to be true and never bothered....
Thanks!

Just to be clear, are you saying that holding it down allows full duplex, 2 way talking? If I hold mine down, I'll neve hear the other end talk as it must be muting it in my end... Android or iPhone?

@KillerQ When my camera was tested right now, the audio at the camera end is muted while you talk. I was incorrect, but it would be a neat feature to have.

It would be nice. As it stands, the delay plus the loud sound effect makes 2 way audio literally useless.

Can we please have someone from the TP Link support staff chime in and address this issue? This is the only feature keeping this from being the PERFECT porch camera.

Sorry we did not see that a new response had been added. We will be having this feature, where both parties can talk at the same time inlcuded in the Doorbell coming out however we have not yet recieved word if this feature will be available in other cameras. It may be a limitation of hardware so we have to find out. If we get any infromation about it we will gladly share that with the community.
